Join WAGA

Membership in the Association is open to any female amateur golfer, as defined in accordance with the rules and policies of the USGA, who are residents of Alabama, have an Alabama driver's license or state issued I.D. card,  and meet the following qualifications:

• Member in good standing of a WAGA member club who holds an active handicap from such club, or
• Member of a USGA member golf course or club without real estate for purposes of maintaining a USGA Handicap Index

Applicant must submit application, proof of residency (Alabama driver's license) and established handicap information with the annual fee of $50.00 for consideration by the Executive Committee. Final approval shall be determined by the Board of Directors. Annual membership shall expire on December 31 each year.

Individual members have no voting rights but are eligible to compete in WAGA Championships and entitled to other privileges of membership, including seminars and information sessions.

Annual membership dues and entry fees for Championships conducted by the WAGA are determined by the Board of Directors.

• Membership in the Association is open to private golf clubs, semiprivate golf clubs and public golf courses who meet the following requirements:
• Agree to pay $75.00 annual dues
• Provide a copy of Ladies Golf Association membership roster and course yardage if one exists
• The golf course must be measured and rated from the women's primary tees by the WAGA rating team
• When member clubs host WAGA tournaments, there will be no charge for green fees to either WAGA or tournament participants

If a member club fails, after due notice, to pay its annual dues, no member affiliated with such club may participate in any WAGA event.
